Girls Just Want to Have Fun!

I spent part of my Friday off having a play date with my niece, Lauren. She's almost 16 months now, and she's really starting to appreciate the greatness that is Aunt Susan. She's a little shy with me at first, but as you can see, she warmed up quickly.

I was willing to do whatever it took to get a good picture of the two of us - including bribery with my watch. I didn't mean to expose her belly button, but better hers than mine!

She has the knack of looking away from the camera just as the picture is being snapped. From the look on her face, she was enjoying my frustration.
